Group Selection

  • While there are no speed limits as such, groups are graded in an attempt to have riders of a similar riding ability and/or speed share the track
  • You must book into a group which is consistant with your riding ability. If you book into an incorrect group you risk your own safety and that of other riders and you may be flagged off the track and forced to sit out sessions until we can find a position in the correct group for you. This will be strictly enforced.

Group Sizes

  • Each graded group has a maximum of 40 riders  sharing the track at any one time.

Note for racers

  •  Although Phillip Island Ride Days are not intended to be a substitute ‘practice day’ for racers, race riders are welcome
  • The same rules and regulations apply to every rider and every rider is expected to behave accordingly
  • Those racers seeking clarification regarding these rules and regulations should call our office on 1300 793 423 prior to booking
  • Alternatively you can attend a race practice run by Phillip Island Circuit.

What time to get to the track
  • It is recommended that riders arrive at the track between 7.30 and 8am.
  • To ensure you don't miss any track time, you need to complete the registration process, have your bike scrutineered and get any hire gear (if applicable) all before the rider briefing at 8.40am
  • Green Group (Medium-fast) are first on track so it's advisable that all Green Group riders are dressed in their riding gear prior to the Rider Briefing
