Suzuki GSX-R1000 Phillip Island Ride Days Debut

After attending the spectacular world launch of Suzuki’s latest incarnation of the GSX-R1000 with the likes of former GP stars Darryl Beattie and Kevin Schwantz, Superbike School director Steve Brouggy was the first in the world to take delivery of the new ‘missile’ at a recent Phillip Island Ride Day in February.

Judging by the smirk on his face and an unusually speechless demeanour, we’re of the impression that the new GSX-R1000 has stayed true to its heritage by being mind-bendingly fast! National Marketing Manager for Suzuki Motorcycles, Glyn Griffiths was also on hand to display the performance of the new bike in its natural environment- the racetrack.
So keep an eye out in the pits at your next Phillip Island Ride Day for the ‘missile’ and the bloke who looks like he’s just got a brand new toy…
